Sarah and Matt’s wedding was at Matt’s Dads farm in Rettendon, Essex.
I would highly recommend it. The set up is great and it gives you a blank canvas to work from so you can make your day truly unique and special. The views are to die for too, absolutely incredible! Sarah & Matt hired a giant tipi for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment, and had hay bales for sofas and plant sticks for the table plan.
Sarah and the girls were getting ready a Pontlands Park Hotel which was a few miles away. A lovely hotel with a very spacious room which really does help for the bridal prep shots. A lovely relaxed morning, then it was onto the church for the ceremony. The church in Rettendon is beautiful, the inside was simply stunning.
Their ride up to the field was on a back of a old Land Rover with hay bales as a seat, really cool. The sun was shining and it was perfect for the guests to be able to make use of the outdoor space and admire the stunning views. The kids were happy and entertained with a bouncy castle, bubbles, and loads of other garden games.
The speeches were highly emotional for Sarah and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. They finished right on time for me to get them out for sunset photo’s. As views were so impressive I was really hoping to get a great sunset to show them off, and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful warm colours which made for some beautiful shots.
The day was so relaxed and chilled, which was down to a great couple and Sarah and Matt’s choice of location for the wedding. A lovely day, thank you both for choosing me as your photographer.
