This was my first Barrington Hall wedding – what an absolutely beautiful venue. Jana the wedding co-ordinator is so infectious and full of energy, a real credit to Barrington Hall.
I arrived to the girls getting ready, all in good sprits and sipping Prosecco! The venue is perfectly placed with the church just across the road, so the girls could just walk over when ready. I love to get shots showing the transition from one part of the day to another.
The weather brightened up in the afternoon which meant everyone could drink in the gardens and enjoy the outside space. It also meant I had time to get some couple shots before the wedding breakfast began.
It’s lovely to be able to sit with guests during the wedding breakfast. I found myself sitting on table with Tottenham fans so I was pretty happy! Two boys kept it very entertaining and reminded me of my brother and I when we were their age.
I knew I wanted to get a night shot in front of the house, but unfortunately the light above the door wasn’t working. Jana bless her tried everything she could but in the end we had to admit defeat. That was until I was driving out of the driveway, and I suddenly noticed the light had come on!
So a quick u-turn in the car park, set up the shot, grabbed Hannah and Rich off the dance floor and jackpot! Got the money shot!
