I’ve travelled far and wide in my first year as a full time wedding photographer. 25 weddings later, and after a lot of thought, I’ve picked my favourite wedding photographs from the year.
My highlights include destination weddings in Italy and Dubai as well as countryside weddings at local venues like Chippenham Park, Swynford Manor and Tewin Bury Farm. The wonderful couples that have trusted me with their day have made reflecting on 2017 a real joy.
Incredibly, in my first year full time, I’ve been selected for two Masters of Wedding Photography awards. The two photos above from Pledgdon Barn and Madingley Hall were chosen in 2017.
As well as photographing these amazing weddings, I’ve met fantastic people in the industry too. From being part of a networking group to attending the NineDots gathering, I’ve made friends really quickly, and been given so much valuable support and advice. Another highlight was being named as one of Hen Heaven’s top wedding photographers. Do take a look at their site if you need wedding planning inspiration.
Before we dive into my the highlights, I want to thank everyone for their support – anyone who’s recommended me and made my first full year of self-employment easier.
Last, but by no means least, I want to give a massive thank you to the couples that invested in me this year. It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to photograph your weddings, without you this would not be possible.
Now, let’s take a look at 2017…
