My first experience of London wedding photography! I was delighted to be asked by Charlotte and Chris to photography their wedding at the amazing Trinity Buoy Wharf. This unique and quirky venue, historically an important part of London’s shipping trade, is along the River Thames, great for photography.
Charlotte and Chris wanted a non-traditional wedding, and this blank canvas of a venue was perfect! The inside was decorated with olive trees and fairy lights, simple and stylish.
Before the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks outside – with a fantastic view of the Thames. Brightly shipping containers line the streets around the venue, and made for really fun photos later on! For the reception guests cooked their own steaks over a hot stone, like no wedding breakfast I’ve been to!
For the evening the couple had hired Britpop band, TFI, everyone loved their 90s covers and there was plenty of singing along happening.
The evening was rounded off with some delicious pizza; I even managed to grab a slice, and then more awesome music from the band.
Thank you guys for a cracking day. I had so much fun!
