I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do something that I truly love as my job. I know not many people get that opportunity, so I throw my heart and soul into it.
People tell me how much I put them at ease, that I’m understanding and empathetic. Couples that usually shy away from the camera say I was able to capture moments without them even realising I was there. You need to feel comfortable with me following you around all day, so for me that’s the best feedback I can receive.
Wedding days are full of love, laughter and fun, I feel privileged to be able to capture so many precious memories.
I live in a small village just North of Cambridge with my fiancée Kelly and our two dogs Buster a Chocolate Labrador and Doris the Miniature Dachshund. Doris is only a puppy and full of energy. Check out my Instagram stories for daily updates on their antics.
Travel is a huge passion of mine. The last few years have taken us to Australia, New York, Sri Lanka and Iceland. In 2014 we fell completely in love with Italy, so much so that we’re getting married in Montepulciano, Tuscany next year. So now I completely understand how it feels to have so much to arrange. I love my sports, in particular football. I follow Tottenham and try to get to as many games as I can. I’m pretty lucky that Kelly also supports them so we go together with my Dad and Brother.
I’m a regular at the gym and enjoy running. I’ve run numerous 10k’s and also completed the Cambridge Half Marathon twice, raising money for Arthur Rank Hospice, a charity that is very close to my heart. My grandad passed away at the hospice back in 2008 and I try to raise as much money as possible to help them continue to care for the elderly.
